Baby Eagle Portrait

This is the Baby Eagle Nebula (LBN 777) an incredibly faint 450 light year distant, 9 light year tall, dark dust globule that is only visible thanks to light from the seven giant stars of the Seven Sisters star cluster reflecting off the globules dust particles. You can follow the story on youtube of how I went up a volcano with my DIY telescope, Betty,  to take this picture here: https://youtu.be/jNDIX3I70_w
